Water-repellent additives in the core and liner mean it absorbs much less water than standard plasterboard (Type H2 to BS EN 520), so it resists damage from steam and occasional splashes. It is not intended for permanently wet areas. Prime with Siniat Universal Sealer before decorating, or treat with PVA bonding agent before plastering.
