Siniat dB Board 15mm is the thicker version of Siniat's high-density acoustic plasterboard, for the best sound insulation from a single layer. "dB" stands for decibels, the unit sound is measured in. With a single layer of 15mm dB Board each side of a Siniat partition, sound reduction of up to 45 Rw dB can be achieved (see the Siniat Drywall Manual), along with 30 minutes' fire resistance. Ideal for separating walls, partitions and linings in homes, flats, hotels and offices. The blue face makes it easy to identify on site.

Is the price per board?
Yes – the price is for one 2400 x 1200mm board (2.88 m²).
Can I order a full pallet?
Yes – a full pallet is 50 boards. Add the quantity you need to your basket.
What does dB mean?
dB is short for decibels, the unit used to measure sound. Partition sound insulation is quoted as Rw dB: the higher the number, the less noise gets through. The dense core of dB Board gives a higher Rw than standard plasterboard of the same thickness.
How do I cut and fix it?
Score the face with a sharp knife, snap the board and cut through the back liner. Fix with drywall screws suited to the frame (metal stud or timber). Joint with tape and jointing compound, or skim with a finishing plaster.
What are the delivery charges?
