Siniat Fire Board 15mm is a thicker fire-resistant plasterboard with a dense, glass-fibre reinforced core (Type F to BS EN 520) that holds together for longer in a fire. It can achieve 60 minutes' fire resistance from a single layer each side of a Siniat metal stud non-loadbearing partition (see the Siniat Drywall Manual). Use it in fire-rated partitions, wall linings, ceilings and encasements in residential and commercial projects. The pink face makes it easy to identify on site.

Is the price per board?
Yes – the price is for one 2400 x 1200mm board (2.88 m²).
Can I order a full pallet?
Yes – a full pallet is 50 boards. Add the quantity you need to your basket.
How much fire resistance will I get?
That depends on the whole system: stud size, number of board layers, insulation and fixings. For example, a single layer of 15mm Fire Board each side of a Siniat metal stud partition can achieve 60 minutes. See the Siniat Drywall Manual for tested systems.
How do I cut and fix it?
Score the face with a sharp knife, snap the board and cut through the back liner. Fix with drywall screws suited to the frame (metal stud or timber). Joint with tape and jointing compound, or skim with a finishing plaster.
What are the delivery charges?
Free delivery to England & Wales on every order; minimum order £400 + VAT. Delivered by Moffett lorry (forklift offload); someone must be present to receive it. We deliver to England and Wales only; we cannot deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland or the islands.
