Insulation for cavity, solid, timber-frame and party walls: full and partial-fill cavity boards (Recticel Eurowall, Kingspan Thermawall, Kooltherm K106/K108), cavity batts, insulated plasterboard for internal wall insulation (K118, Mannok MLK), timber-frame boards and rolls (K112, URSA Frametec) and party wall roll. For cavity wall insulation, choose partial fill cavity insulation boards, which leave a clear air gap, or full fill cavity insulation such as cavity batts and Mannok IsoCavity boards. For solid wall insulation, insulated plasterboard on the inside face is the quickest route, while timber frame insulation fits between the studs as boards or rolls.
